TOWN OF ROMULUS OVERVIEW
The Township of Romulus developed from Military Tract Bounty Land given to veterans of the Revolutionary War. Romulus was formed in 1794, which at that time encompassed all lands northward to the shores of Lake Ontario.
The Town is beautifully situated at the heart of the Finger Lakes between Seneca and Cayuga lakes. Romulus is predominately agricultural and tourism centered while possessing a former military base that is actively working to develop business and employment opportunities.
