TOWN OF ROMULUS OVERVIEW

The Township of Romulus developed from Military Tract Bounty Land given to veterans of the Revolutionary War.  Romulus was formed in 1794, which at that time encompassed all lands northward to the shores of Lake Ontario.   

The Town is beautifully situated at the heart of the Finger Lakes between Seneca and Cayuga lakes.  Romulus is predominately agricultural and tourism centered while possessing a former military base that is actively working to develop business and employment opportunities.

The Next Romulus Town Board Meeting Will Be Wednesday, August 16th at 7:00pm

Anyone wishing to petition the board please call the Wednesday before the board meeting

 

The Next Planning Board Meeting Will Be Monday, August 7, 2017

 

ATTENTION TOWN OF ROMULUS RESIDENTS

Mark your calendars for the 2017 Dumpster Days.  The town

will accept a drivers license or a previous years dumpster day permit

as proof of residency.

Dumpsters will be located at the Log City Road Transfer Station Location.

Should you need directions, please contact the Romulus Town Hall at

607-869-9326.

                     FALL DATES

Friday, October 13th        8:00am - 4:00pm

Saturday, October 14th    8:00am - 4:00pm

Sunday, October 15th      8:00am - Noon

** We will take 5 Tires Per Household**

The following items are NOT accepted:

NO Electronics this year

55-gallon drums

Paint cans containing Wet Paint ( can except if they are empty or paint is dry)

Hazardous Materials, Propane Tanks, Asbestos, Medical wastes or radioactive wastes

Gasoline, Oil or Solvents and their containers

Pesticides

No yard waste, shingles or other construction debris

No Business Waste
