TOWN OF ROMULUS OVERVIEW

The Township of Romulus developed from Military Tract Bounty Land given to veterans of the Revolutionary War.  Romulus was formed in 1794, which at that time encompassed all lands northward to the shores of Lake Ontario.   

The Town is beautifully situated at the heart of the Finger Lakes between Seneca and Cayuga lakes.  Romulus is predominately agricultural and tourism centered while possessing a former military base that is actively working to develop business and employment opportunities.

NOTICE

ROMULUS TOWN BOARD: The Next Romulus Town Board Meeting will be Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 7:00pm.

The Town Board Will Be Holding A Public Hearing On October 17, 2018 at 7:00pm in regards to

Adopting The Preliminary Budget, Including Special Districts and

Electriced Officials Salaries. There will be a second Public Hearing

For A Local Law To Override the Tax Cap for 2019 and a third Public

Hearing for Proposed Property Maintenance Changes for the Zoning Code

The Tentative Budget For 2019 Is Located Under Reports & Budgets

The "Property Maintainence DRAFT" Can Be Found Under "For Discussion Only"

There are (2) budget workshops scheduled are Monday, October 1st @ 10:30am

and Tuesday, October 9th @ 10:30am

Anyone wishing to petition the town board please call the Wednesday before the date of the meeting.
